Physical Therapist DPT from $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year based upon experience

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist with a Masters or DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.

Implement treatment plans using techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.

Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as needed.

Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Stay current with new physical therapy techniques and practices through continuing education.

Supervise physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and aides in the delivery of treatment.

Manage a caseload and schedule to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency.

Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are clean, safe, and properly set up.

Comply with all state licensure and professional association requirements.

Assist in the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures.

Provide input on program development and quality improvement initiatives within the therapy department.

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing in the state of practice (CA)

Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in a outpatient setting

Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making

Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans

Competency in utilizing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and various modalities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and staff interactions

Solid documentation skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (AI Scribe documentation assistant)

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education (Ex. Pilates Certification)

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Physical stamina and dexterity to meet the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and moving patients

Knowledge of reimbursement, insurance guidelines, and regulations relevant to physical therapy services

Availability to work flexible hours, including possible evenings and weekends.

Candidate must be familiar with the California Physical Therapy Board laws and regulations. Must understand clearly the law and regulations regarding the supervision of Physical Therapist assistants and the use of physical therapy aides for patient related and non patient related tasks. Must also be knowledgeable of Medicare rules pertaining to group therapy.

Productivity: Physical therapist must be able to treat 2-3 patients per hour with the help of 1 aide and a minimum of 16 patients per 8 hour day.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year based upon experience and productivity level. If a therapist is able to provide good quality of service treating at least 16 patients per day on average or more, they will be paid above the $110,000 range, if not, they will qualify for the pay scale between $105,000 and $109,000/ year.

Work Schedule:

8-hour shift: 9am to 6pm M-F or 8am to 5pm M-F or Sunday-Thursday 9 am to 6pm

Supplemental/Additional pay types:

Bonus pay: $200 per week (PT must see an average of 18 or more patients per week to qualify for the weekly bonus per pay period)

Signing bonus: $4000 (paid out per quarter for the 1st year as the PT completes the quarter)

Education: $500 continual education

Bilingual Differential: Spanish fluent level ($110,000 per year minimum)
