Delivery Driver

Job Description

National HVACR wholesale distributor is looking for a full time Delivery Driver - CDL license required to help support our continued growth and expansion. Duties:

Make deliveries to customers (80%) – CDL required

Warehouse (20%) - Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse.

Load and unload trucks

Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of products.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks – can obtain forklift license while on the job

Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.

Keep warehouse premises neat and clean

Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.

Monitor and manage inventory control – Computer knowledge

Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.

Requirements:

CDL License - must have a clean driving record

Must have Medical Card

Hazmat Endorsement – must obtain within 90 days of being hired (company will pay to get this for you)

Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more

Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift

Operate Forklift and pallet jack – will certify while on job

Basic Computer Skills - Preferred

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work independently

Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory

Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state

Must be able to pass drug tests
