Head of Operations

Experience: 15-16 years in interior business, with 5-6 years managing operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to oversee our daily interior operations. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the interior business. This role involves designing SOPs and policies, managing project execution, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Strategy:

Formulate and implement the operations strategy for the business.

Design policies that align with the overall business strategy.

Implement efficient processes and standards.

Project Management:

Oversee the execution of interior projects across various cities.

Implement an effective project management framework to monitor projects.

Ensure projects are completed within schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives, and design guidelines.

Manage project deliverables, including risk allowance and changes/variations.

Foster teamwork among all project stakeholders.

Customer Service and Retention:

Coordinate customer service operations to ensure a positive customer experience.

Find ways to enhance customer retention.

Technology Implementation:

Oversee and coordinate the implementation of technology solutions to improve operations.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

Manage contracts and relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.

Guide and coordinate with vendors and business partners through project completion.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts.

Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Financial Oversight:

Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits.

Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and motivate teams to achieve high productivity and engagement.

Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective team coordination and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a premier institution; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 15-16 years of experience in the interior business, including 5-6 years managing operations.

Excellent knowledge of project management, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and operations.

Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.

Strong analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.

Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience in designing and implementing SOPs and policies.

Ability to oversee complex projects and deliver them on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of the interior business landscape and market dynamics.
