Senior Test Automation Engineer (time limited contract)

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in our Bangalore office for a time-limited contract of up to 12 months.

How will you make a difference?

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you are responsible for understanding the functional or end to end test cases/scenarios and automating the same from scratch. Able to analyse the failures and supports product development team in identifying the defects at early stage. You make sure Test automation is Integral part of the CI/CD pipeline, abiding with its principle of build fast, test fast and fail fast. In summary, we are looking for a resource who is having high self-motivation, initiative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

Focused on designing, developing and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and efficiency of the products

Experienced with UI automation for web-based applications

Experienced with API automation testing for Rest API calls

Able to enhance automation framework with latest available features

Good coding, analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsible to run analysis on nightly build automation job test results and communicate the defects with Test lead

Excellent communication skills and desire to function in a team-based environment

Exposure to Scrum or other agile development methodologies

Open to do functional testing on need basis

Should be capable to work on fast paced environment and Individual contributor.

You are going to stand out if you have

University Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent

6+ years of hands-on experience as a Test automation engineer

Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows)

UI Automation (Selenium, Playwright) is must

Languages (Java 8 or above, Java script, Type script), Hands on experience with Type script is must

API Automation (Rest assured or equivalent)

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (QA Perspective)

DB tools (Oracle, Mongo, SQL)

QA defect tracking and test management tools (Jira/ Qtest))
