A leading designer and manufacturer of currency-handling equipment is looking for a Software Development Engineer. The company has major markets in Hongkong, Melbourne, Chicago USA, and Wantage UK, with engineering centers in Australia and China.

What you’ll do:

Working as part of the team on new Product Development

Design, develop, and test new software algorithms/applications in accordance with company standards and functional requirements

Modify and enhance existing software applications

Maintain source code revision control libraries

Maintain technical records on new developments and investigations

Document the operation of the software applications based on knowledge of the software code

Investigate and resolve software faults in existing applications

What you’ll need:

Strong background in writing applications on a PC, such as applications to be used to test and configure the embedded systems

At least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer using either C, C#, python, java or any equivalent programming language for real-time systems

Experience in .NET Framework

Experience in document and tracking tools, Jira & Confluence

Experience in complying with company standards for software quality, version control, and documentation

Ability to prepare user guides and manuals for the application software on embedded systems

A degree in Electronics or Software Engineering or a similar discipline.
