Beverage Innovation Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Beverage Innovation Project manager is responsible for leading the development and launch of innovative coffee, tea, and other beverage products from concept through commercialization. This role requires strong project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, and align products with the company's strategic goals. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the coffee/tea and beverage industry. in

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead and manage beverage innovation products, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.

Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting all quality and compliance standards.

Innovation and Development:

Identify opportunities for new beverage products and improvements to existing offerings based on market trends and consumer insights.

Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to develop and refine product concepts, formulations, and packaging.

Conduct feasibility studies and pilot testing to validate product concepts and ensure readiness for commercialization.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders and senior management.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to foster collaboration and generate innovative ideas.

Quality and Compliance:

Ensure all beverage innovation projects comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Conduct regular reviews and audits of project processes and deliverables to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.

Prepare and present regular project updates, performance metrics, and final evaluations to stakeholders.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, risk, and issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the beverage industry.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering beverage innovation projects.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Lean).

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

Strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture.

Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for beverages.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Asana).

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams.
