Job Description:
Our national sales team currently has an opening for a Field Sales Representative located in our West territory
(focus on Colorado and Utah). As a Field Sales Rep, you will be based out of your home office and will travel through your territory regularly using your company vehicle.
By joining RockWell you will immediately become a key member of our winning sales team. In this position, you will strategically target high-end builders, custom home builders, and production builders who operate regionally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to drive new builder business.
Execute prospecting cold calls and web lead follow-up via phone and email to grow the builder funnel.
Demonstrate our product benefits and drive business to new builders.
Grow sales with current customers (builders) by strengthening relationships and finding solutions to their needs.
Generate target builder lists for multiple markets and execute by converting them to Rockwell products.
Use RockWell's CRM to supply management with oral and written reports on customer opportunities and status.
Build relationships with distributor reps and assist in "pull through" builder sales
Travel throughout your territory to meet in person with sales opportunities (50%-75% Time Requirement)
Make occasional trips to corporate offices for training and team-building events.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of successful outside sales experience preferred but not required
Comfortable working in a sales channel where you do not make direct sales, but you pull products through
contractors to your distributors.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Exceptional at developing friendships and relationships of trust.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Thorough understanding of computer related selling tools.
Superior time-management and organization skills.
High energy, self-starter, driven to succeed because you love to win.
