Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, develop, implement, maintain, and support SSIS Scripts, Stored Procedures, and other ETL structures.

Consult with data management teams to understand data storage needs.

Present warehousing options based on storage requirements.

Design and code data warehousing systems to company specifications.

Assist in developing and complying with departmental programming standards.

Analyze data model and interface design specifications.

Write code in compliance with programming standards.

Conduct preliminary testing of the warehousing environment.

Extract company data and transfer it into the new warehousing environment.

Test the new storage system once data transfer is complete.

Troubleshoot issues that arise and provide maintenance support.

Help determine effort and time required for solution delivery.

Create documents and artifacts to promote knowledge management within the organization. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems science, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 4 years of experience in design, programming, database design, and communication techniques.

Minimum 4 years of experience in extracting and transforming data within a Business Intelligence environment.

2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Agent jobs and SSIS packages.

2+ years of experience with SQL programming objects, including stored procedures and user-defined functions.

2+ years of experience with SharePoint PerformancePoint.

2+ years of experience with database tuning and optimization.

3+ years of comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience.

Working knowledge of general business, quality/regulatory requirements, and/or manufacturing systems.

Proficiency in technical, conceptual, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to problems creatively.

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and assist with after-hours issues.
