Electrical Control Panel Fabricator

Job Description

Perform detailed layout of electrical components using assembly drawing (drafting, measuring, and basic math).

Perform physical modifications of enclosures and interior panels based on layout (drill & tap holes, use hole saws and knockouts, touch-up appearance).

Identify and assemble electrical parts by reading bill of materials and assembly drawing (screw connections, din rail, and wire channel).

Wire electrical parts using schematic (stripping wire, crimping lugs, pressure plate terminations, continuity check).

Perform functional test and troubleshooting of panels based on an understanding of the schematic and other documentation.

Read and understand internal technical documentation (in English) including assembly drawings and schematics, as well as external documentation including vendor catalogs, instruction sheets, and industry standards.

Record individual fabrication practices and individual production times. Update weekly schedule by tracking parts received and jobs completed. Maintain proper inventory levels for stock items.

Work with a minimum of supervision.

Experience: Two years performing panel fabrication is preferred. Computer literacy is preferred.

Work Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (with overtime possible).
