Gala & Associates, Inc., a full-service, consulting Architectural and Engineering firm located in Beverly Hills, MI, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work with our staff on our Automotive and Heavy Industrial facilities design projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical design support within our Electrical department

Perform analysis, design, and documentation of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems

Prepare schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with owner’s requirements and ensure governmental code compliance

Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates

Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field/site surveys and observations

Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors, and building contractors as required

Responsible for ensuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines

Experience Required:

Electrical Power Distribution

Lighting Design

Security System Design

Fire Alarm Design

Control Communication

Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Analysis

Tooling - Power Distribution

Field Inspection

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2 to 5 years relevant work experience

Knowledge of industry technical software - Revit experience a must

Ability to work well with a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
