Junior Network Support Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Network Support Tech who is excellent with Linux. Must know networking inside and out. Must have experience working in the field.

FatPipe is searching for AN EXPERIENCED Network Support Technician who can deliver quality support to internal team members and external clients over the phone, via email, through live chat and in person.

The Network Technician will troubleshoot software and hardware issues to determine where repairs need to be made and then plan those repairs with the Network Manager. The successful applicant will also be responsible for ensuring that all cable connections, from building to building, are intact and offering complete flow of data.

Network Technician responsibilities and duties

Troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues and make repairs and perform scheduled updates Partner with the IT team to ensure that security software is properly installed on employee computers Provide technical support to clients through various channels of communication Inspect cable lines to ensure that they are intact and working optimally.Field questions from employees about software installation and hardware upgrades.
