Head of AI

Requirements:

Proven experience of 8 to 10 years in leading AI teams, setting up AI departments, and mentoring junior resources.

Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning concepts, algorithms, and applications.

Ability to develop and implement AI strategies aligned with business goals.

Hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Understanding of business operations and ability to identify AI opportunities to drive growth and improvement.

Familiarity with data science concepts, data preparation, and data visualization.

Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Relevant AI certifications (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified AI Engineer) are a plus.

Understanding of Generative AI techs such as Google Vertex AI, Gemeni Pro, Google Bard.

Experience in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, marketing) and understanding of its AI applications.

Knowledge of data engineering concepts and experience with data pipelines and architectures.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with AI deployment and management.

Currently working on Generative AI, LLMS, RAG etc.

Responsibilities:

Establish and lead the AI department, defining its vision, mission, and objectives.

Create and implement an AI strategy aligned with business goals, identifying opportunities for AI adoption.

Hire, mentor, and manage a team of AI professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Design and develop AI solutions to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.

Communicate AI initiatives and results to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.

Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve department operations.
