Job Overview:

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is critical in supporting the accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial activities.

What you'll do

Reconciling monthly statements and verifying accounts.

Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve disputes or issues.

Reconcile account receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing concerns.

Generate reports on accounts receivable aging and collections for management review.

Processing payable, expenses, and expenditures.

Evaluate all accounts payable balances and resolve all unpaid invoices issues.

Prepare account payable reports.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.

Ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Other related tasks as required.

What you'll bring

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

At least 3-4 years of experience in Bookkeeping.

Experience with QuickBooks, Xero and MYOB is required.

Strong analytical skills, time management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City.
