POSITION OVERVIEW:

Apollo Insurance Solutions Group seeks a mortgage support analyst/associate for its Mumbai office. This is a new position added to the team that supports a growing portfolio of residential real estate mortgage loans. The analyst/associate will work with internal partners as well as external clients to support day to day needs of loan servicing. The mortgage support analyst/associate will have the opportunity to work with various groups across the organization as well as manage relations with servicers, vendors, attorneys, and other commercial loan professionals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor borrower’s compliance with loan documents and evaluates and processes commercial loan transactions in accordance with the loan documents on a variety of routine matters

Support the day-to-day needs of Loan Servicing by providing data analysis, project deliverables, risk management, and operational requirements to achieve strategic objectives

Independently review system-generated reports to monitor loan delinquency, maturities, call dates, payments, and interest rate changes

Coordinate borrower’s requests on non-routine/ad hoc matters such as forbearance agreements, easements, etc.

Prepare and process collateral releases and work with custodians

Collect and track annual financials and rent rolls

Assist in the closing of commercial mortgage loans and funding requests

Complete special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience is required

Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience

Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter who needs minimal direction

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments

Both general and front-line knowledge of real estate finance, investments, accounting and insurance principles
