Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 1 (Environmental Services):

* Collect soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples

* Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems

* Use and maintain field monitoring equipment

* Conduct site inspections at active construction and industrial sites for

stormwater and environmental purposes.

* Gather and manage data electronically

* Draft template reports

* Actively develop your own professional growth

What we're looking for:

* BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or

related field

* 0-3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data

collection

* Ability to travel for up to one week at a time

* Ability to work >8-hour days as needed

* Ability to be on feet for >8-hour a day with breaks

* Ability to lift 50 pounds

* Strong technical writing and communication skills

* Ability to travel for work up to one week at a time

* Ability to work outside year-round

* The ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule

* Ability to travel to remote project sites

* Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable

transportation are required

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

* Experience with data management and report preparation preferred

* Safety minded

* Experience with safety programs and safe work practices.

* Ability to travel to remote project sites.
