Job Title: Founding Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-office position)

Salary: Up to $225,000 per annum

Role Description:

As a Founding Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to build a new database from scratch. This role demands a highly skilled individual with at least 4 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in full-stack development and testing. You will play a critical role in the initial stages of developing, architecting, and testing our technology, working closely with a small team of less than 10 members.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and test full-stack code end-to-end.

Architect and implement solutions using Python, Go, and ML/NLP libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).

Work with both relational and non-relational databases, particularly Postgres.

Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.

Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.

Experience with database management and cloud technologies.

Ability to handle the pressures and demands of a startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous founding engineer experience or significant contributions to a successful startup.

Active involvement in open source projects or an impressive online presence.

Demonstrated rapid progression in career trajectory.
