Job Description

Handle simple cooking tasks such as brewing coffee or tea, preparing soups and reducing sauces, and assisting others in the kitchen when necessary

Clean food stations and prep areas and sanitize equipment and kitchen utensils after closing to maintain proper hygiene

Follow instructions for recipes. Read meal charts and labels in English and use the measuring tools correctly

Prepare recipes using the proper measurements needed for condiments and wash dice, and slice fruits and vegetables, and meats, for the variety of meals we prepare for customers

Abide by food safety guidelines and implement COVID-19 safety measures in all food prep areas and stations where food is prepared and kitchen equipment is usedQualifications:

Prefer someone with some kitchen prep experience and associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent, but it is not required

Understanding of how to read recipes, meal charts, measuring tools, and labels in English

Must be comfortable handling sharp knives and other kitchen tools when prepping food

Have some experience prepping food and the ability to work under the head chef/cook with minor supervision

Should be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and also bend, pull, and lift 35-50 poundsAbout Company
