As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for;

Technical Project Execution

Develops software across the full software development lifecycle. The software may be embedded, desktop, web, mobile, or a combination of any of these.

Demonstrates critical thinking within the construct of Software Engineering for themselves and at a project level, including understanding and practical application of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, computer architecture, operating systems, and embedded systems (if applicable).

Practices critical thinking at a multi-project level.

Leads team to improve design and maintainability.

Independently scopes flexible technical solutions and anticipates technical uncertainties.

Generate software requirements, architecture & design documentation, source code, and unit tests.

Participates in risk management process.

Implements software in C, C++, and Python

Uses version control systems including Git

Participates in software design reviews and code reviews.

Tests software implementation.

Completes high-level work breakdown from specs.

Completes task in estimated timeframe +/- 10% and can typically predict overruns before they occur.

Identifies any scope changes and identifies resolution options with project leaders.

Mentors junior engineers.

Provides leadership and communication

Provides sales and marketing support

Qualifications;

10+ years of software engineering experience

Bare metal experience

RTOS AND Linux experience

C/C++, Python experience

Within commuting distance to Westminster, CO. Open to relocation to Westminster, CO accepted as well.

Salary Range: $138K-$161K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience

MANDATORY FOR ALL REMOTE/HYBRID AND/OR CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, MARYLAND, CONNECTICUT, NEVADA, NEW YORK, RHODE ISLAND, WASHINGTON STATE & CINCINNATI, OHIO, JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY, TOLEDO, OHIO BASED ROLES.

On-site Requirements: Candidate must be willing to commute to Westminster, CO office at least 2 days per week regularly. For more critical parts of the project, candidates may be required to be on-site 5 days per week.
