Project Coordinator

Direct Hire

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour

**PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials required**

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating the smooth execution of various projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining effective communication among team members and internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties:

· Coordinate project activities and tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to project timelines

· Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables

· Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to facilitate effective communication among project team members

· Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address issues proactively

· Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns or inquiries as needed

· Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project execution and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

· Assist in evaluating project performance and identifying areas for improvement or optimization

· Uphold organizational standards and procedures related to project management methodologies and best practices

· Efficiently manage the project management team’s calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, and proactively handling any conflicts or adjustments

· Manage expense reports, credit card activity, and reimbursement requests for the project management team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

· Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed

· Manage sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality, maintaining trust, and professionalism

· Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments as requested by the project management team, which may include research, analysis, or other tasks

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required

· Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a manufacturing environment required

· Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Infor CSI, MS Access Database) required

· PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials required

· Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in project deliverables required

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively required

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels required

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment required

· Must live in the greater Houston area required

· Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required

· Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 26lbs or more required

· Ability to sit, stand, and walk, stoop and bend for four-plus hours at a time required

Preferred Qualifications:

· Five-plus years of administrative experience preferred
