Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insider Risk Analyst to join our team. As an insider risk analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and preventing data breaches. Your expertise in detecting and responding to data security incidents will be essential for our Information Protection Program, protecting our organization's data from insider threats.

Primary responsibilities:

· Alert Monitoring and Response: Monitor alerts and investigate potential data security incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to mitigate risks and prevent data leaks.

· Policy Development: Develop and maintain data loss prevention policies, rules, and configurations to identify and protect sensitive data across various platforms and endpoints within the organization.

· Solution Management: Manage and maintain insider risk and data loss prevention tools and technologies, staying updated with the latest features and configurations to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.

· Insider Threat Mitigation: Implement strategies to detect and prevent insider threats, identifying potential risks posed by employees, contractors, or other authorized personnel with access to sensitive data.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage closely with stakeholders from various divisions in the Asia Pacific region, fostering collective efforts to ensure consistent and effective implementation of data loss prevention measures.

Required Experience and Skills:

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degree.

· 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity defense, insider threats or data loss prevention operations.

· Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese languages as the role is required to support the China market.

· Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, curiosity, and solution orientation and to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Demonstrated understanding of business processes and the ability to align data loss prevention strategies with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Nice to have:

· Previous experience in regulated industry.

· Knowledge of insider threat detection and mitigation techniques is a plus.

· Ability to display foreign language proficiency in Japanese or Korean.
