The Role
This position is responsible for the development and implementing functional programs, with a focus on mobile first web and cross platform mobile application development. You will work with other developers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle. Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.
The position will also participate in design meetings and consulting with clients to refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third-party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.
The person in this role will work closely with Development Team locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Follow software development lifecycle.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
knowledge of supporting web technologies, languages & frameworks.
An understanding of the Information and Technology industry, as well as technology trends and next practice. Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
Experience in working in a competitive, fast paced industry.
Essential Skills
Experience in data transmissions between wagering systems (e.g. ITSP) Integrated wagering data transmission to wagering operators via ITSP (Inter-Tote System Protocol) version 5.14+.
Extensive experience in wagering communication protocols (ITSP)
3 plus years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web API and C#
Strong front-end skills in Angular, Vue or similar
SQL experience in MSSQL or MySQLSD
Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with working in an agile environment
Desirable Skills
• Speaking Tamil Language would be an advantage.
• Experience with entity Framework or other ORM tools
• CI/CD or DevOps
Qualification (tertiary or otherwise) in Software Engineering or Computer Science
