Join the Civmec Team

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our construction team on the Covalent Lithium Refinery project. The site is in Kwinana, 35km south of Perth and is due to commence mid-2022 with an expected completion in 2024.

The scope of work covers a vast range of disciplines including structural and piping fabrication, SMP erection, refractory lining, insulation, and E&I installation works.

This local, long-term opportunity provides project work within the metro area with a family friendly work schedule of 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

The Role

• Familiar with various types of scaffolding components ie Atpac, Tube and clip etc

• Able to work at heights

• Understanding of the basic fundamentals of scaffolding

• Erect install and position various sections of scaffolding including hanging and cantilevered scaffolds

• Read and interpret engineered drawings for weight bearing scaffolds other than human occupancy

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• You will be based in Perth, Western Australia

• Working a heights ticket (desirable)

• Elevated Work Platform (desirable)

• Relevant High Risk Work license

• 3 years + construction experience in the mining and resources sector

• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
