Senior Business & Data Analyst (Life Business)

Job Accountabilities

Build and maintain business datamarts to visualize KPIs, metrics in reports / dashboard to empower data analytic capability across functional teams for Life Business

Understand the Company's business processes and applications, including their effect on data and reporting, and apply the knowledge gained in designing datasets, reports and dashboards

Drive the implementation and enhancement of web tracking, analytics and visualization for digital sales and customer traffic using Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio, etc.

Analyze web traffic / business data to identify actionable insights for management and stakeholders

Drive the analysis on customer segmentation / profiling and campaign performance

Analyze and verify requirements for dashboards and reports by working with requesters, SMEs and partners

Support the continuous enhancement, maintenance of datawarehouse, ETL processes, reports and dashboards

Closely work with IT team and vendors for project implementation

Prepare and execute test plan, test cases and user training

Assemble system performance statistics, analyze them and make changes for continuous performance / capacity improvement

Understand and investigate data issues and derive solutions

Create and maintain data dictionary, user guide and other related documentation

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data / BI domains

Experience in Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio, BigQuery to track / visualize web traffic, customer behaviors and business performance

Experience in data integration / ETL, data-modeling for datawarehouse

Highly proficient in SQL

Familiar with Insurance or Financial industries is an advantage

Experience in the following tools / platforms is preferable: PowerBI, Hotjar, Azure, Python, predictive/machine learning, Microsoft SSIS, Visual Studio

Knowledge of website design / development, UI/UX is a merit

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and presentation skills, able to articulate business processes / requirements / ideas to all levels

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Candidate with less experience may be considered as Business & Data Analyst
