TransPerfect Translations International, Inc. seeks to hire a Software Engineer to work in our office in New York, New York. The Software Engineer will provide holistic software development capabilities across the software development lifecycle, including but not limited to, design, architecture, development, version control, and testing.

Specifically, the Software Engineer will perform the following duties:

• Design, develop and integrate .NET Core and MVC web applications;

• Support software lifecycle, to include design, developing and testing;

• Work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed;

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code/databases;

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications;

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues;

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires a bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field. The successful candidate must also have two (2) years of experience as a software developer, which includes two (2) years of experience with the following:

• C# and .NET Core;

• MVC and Web Form web applications;

• JavaScript fundamentals;

• HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap

• Windows Services and ASP.NET Web API;

• Android applications;

• SQL Server development; and

• Windows Forms.

RATE OF PAY: $89,253/yr. - $98,500/yr.
