Buyer/ Planner

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience as a Buyer with procurement, planning, or supply chain with Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electronics Products.

Must be an effective negotiator with International suppliers such as China.

Proficient with procurement, inventory management software, and tools.

Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Must have ERP experience. (Microsoft Dynamics - Navision would be preferred.)

Chinese (Mandarin) would be nice but not required.

Responsibilities:

Support all buyer/ planner activities to support supply chain, procurement operations, sourcing.

Monitor/manage inventory, equipment, and maintenance schedules.

Ensure that all materials meet safety standards.

Analyze purchases and seek cost optimization opportunities.
