QA Lead Coordinator

We are looking for a new member of the Roblox App Release QA team, responsible for quality assurance of weekly releases of the Roblox app. The team currently consists of 3 full time QA coordinators who use outsourced testers. The team collaborates closely with Roblox Engine QA, responsible for testing the gaming experience.

The new team member will be reporting to the QA Manager leading App QA team.

You will:

Work as part of the team ensuring predictable high quality updates to the Roblox App, enjoyed by over 70 million active daily users world-wide.

Take primary responsibility for the validation and weekly release of one or more platforms on which the Roblox app is available

Collaborate with multiple development teams to ensure appropriate coverage of app surfaces in the weekly regression test.

Work with offsite testers and internal QA to deliver quality weekly releases

You have:

5+ years of QA experience working with both internal and offshore testing teams

QA experience shipping high profile mobile apps distributed via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a large number of partners with conflicting schedules and priorities.

A demonstrated ability to build new and continually improve upon existing processes

Experience in GaaS (or Games as a Service) a strong plus.

Experience in console QA is a strong plus.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$168,620—$212,880 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
