Join our dynamic team dedicated to the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges project nestled in the heart of Victoria Park.
The Causeway Link Alliance, formed by Civmec Construction and Engineering Pty Ltd, Sermour Whyte Constructions PTY Ltd, WSP Australia Pty Ltd and Main Roads has been entrusted with the design and design and construction of this landmark endeavour.
This venture encompasses the creation of two striking cable-stayed bridges, featuring a spacious 6-meter-wide pathway connecting Victoria Park foreshore, Heirisson Island, and Perth’s CBD at Point Fraser.
We are currently in search of a an experienced HSE Professional ideally with experience collaborating with Main Roads WA. Join us in shaping the future of infrastructure excellence.
The Role
You’ll collaborate with the HSE Manager and influence positive outcomes to ensure our project execution aligns with contract specifications. Backed by a skilled leadership and field team, dedicated to safety and professionalism, you’ll receive comprehensive support.
Deliver visible safety leadership
Implement, audit and conduct inspections of project specific HSE management systems
Compile and issue HSE based reports (incident reports, trends analysis)
Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
Support risk identification and management processes to ensure risk of work activities is reduced to a ALARP
Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project team and management teams as required
Review and monitor subcontractors HSE management processes
Develop and implement new HSE processes and initiatives
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
A tertiary qualification in OHS
ICAM or Taproot certification
Main Roads WA experience would be highly regarded
Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM, Taproot)
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
Advanced software skills including; MS office suite and HSE databases
Ability to lead in HSE delivery
