Fund Accountant

A mission-oriented venture capital firm is hiring for a fully remote and full-time Fund Accountant to join their growing team. This is a key hire that will join a small team of three in executing day-to-day fund accounting responsibilities for new and existing venture funds. This role will require a willingness to travel to company offsite meetings, paid for by the company, on a quarterly basis. Required:

3+ years of professional experience in accounting (preferably fund accounting in the venture capital, private equity, or real estate space)

Strong understanding of and previous professional adherence to GAAP or IFRS

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field of study

Nice to have:

Experience working with Investran or similar accounting software products

CPA or exams completed toward CPA issuance

2+ years of experience in fund accounting within the venture capital or private equity space
