Manufacturing Associate (MCS )

Job Description

The Manufacturing Associate will work in a dynamic production environment, supporting the Cell Banking Group. Under general supervision, the employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities:

Set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.

Preparing buffers/media according to defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.

Following GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance.

Performing and monitoring critical processes, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.

In-process sampling of equipment and operating analytical equipment.

Washroom activities: cleaning small and large-scale equipment used in production.

Maintaining an organized and clean workspace.

Working in a clean room environment, wearing steel toe shoes, full clean room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.

Identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements related to routine functions.

Assisting in the review of documentation (equipment logs, batch records).

Sterile GMP Manufacturing for buffer/media preparation.

Kanban ordering and garment management.

GMP Cell Culture operations and Freeze Day operations.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

Regularly lifting up to 35 lbs, pushing and pulling objects requiring up to 50 lbs of force.

Performing physical movements necessary for daily functions (bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, etc.).

Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree OR

Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience.
