Salary: Base Salary + Commission

We are seeking to expand our sales department and are looking for dedicated and personable salespeople to join our team. In this role, you will consult with homeowners and business owners at appointments pre-scheduled for you, and others you have self-generated or previously cold called. Your goal? To diagnose the issues they are experiencing with their home or business and provide the best solution for them.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed proposals outlining recommended services, pricing, and timelines- ensuring clear communication of the benefits and value of the solutions offered

Stay updated on the latest products, techniques, and regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients, fostering trust and credibility

Work closely with installation crews to ensure seamless execution of proposed plans, providing necessary insights and instructions for successful implementation

Deliver engaging and informative presentations that educate clients about the restoration solutions APSF offers

Serve as a problem solver to identify the most efficient and effective solution for each customer's needs

Assess properties for multi-solution needs, identifying opportunities to cross-sell

Proactively identify and cultivate leads through direct outreach, referrals, and participation in community events to expand customer base

Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and communication

Perform on-site crawlspace or basement inspections to identify structural problems and recommend appropriate solutions

Qualifications:

Ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner

Experience in consultative selling highly preferred

Initiative to take ownership of lead generation, follow-ups, and overall sales process

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, present solutions, and negotiate terms

Ability to handle rejection, overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive attitude in a competitive sales environment

Willingness to collaborate with technicians, other sales team members, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Proficiency in languages other than English is preferred, but not required

Skilled in operating computer software (we will train you)

Goal-driven mindset and the ability to work independently to manage a pipeline of leads, prioritize tasks, and achieve sales targets

Must be able to work under minimal supervision

Ability to walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl

Ability to fit in crawlspaces to perform inspections

Must have a high school diploma or higher

A valid ID and safe driving record

Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen

Ability to work overtime, if needed
