Position Title: Digital Merchandising Coordinator, Amazon

Supervises: None

Department: Digital Marketing

FLSA: Exempt

Reports to: National Account Manager, Amazon

Location: St. Louis, MO - Westport Plaza Corporate Office

Hybrid Schedule with 3 days in office, 2 days from home

General Overview: The Digital Merchandising Coordinator, Amazon role will be responsible for assisting the National Account Manager, Amazon, in developing and implementing the Amazon strategy for the Rawlings, Easton, Miken, and Worth brands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the development of the annual and day-to-day Amazon strategy.

Partners with the National Account Manager, Amazon on the assortment strategy and owns the new item setup process.

Ensures all copy/content is authentic and on-brand providing an engaging customer experience on Amazon.com.

Optimizes existing content and develops plans for future online content enhancements.

Leads merchandising efforts to support promotional events on Amazon.com.

Works with the brand and digital marketing teams to ensure a cohesive brand message on Amazon.

Assists with day-to-day customer service correspondence with Amazon’s Vendor Management Team, ensuring all product detail pages are displayed accurately and new items are both set up and displaying properly on site.

Collaborates cross-functionally with Product teams and Sales Operations team involving new product development, promotional and baseline product forecasts.

Works with third-party agency to help execute Amazon advertising strategy.

Stays current on the dynamics of the digital industry; with an emphasis on consumer trends and e-commerce best practice.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field required.

One to three years of experience in sales, ecommerce, customer service and/or marketing.

Passion for working in teams and ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with agency partners.

Sharp business analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter, who is comfortable with the ever-changing and uncertain environment of global ecommerce.

Proficiency in Excel modelling, PowerPoint presentation development, and web analytics.

Additional Preferences:

Direct ecommerce and/or digital marketing experience.

Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and/or consumer durables industry strongly preferred.

Experience in working in sporting goods industry.

Working Conditions: General office working conditions with an ability to travel as needed. May be required to travel on a quarterly basis, at a minimum.
