Maintenance Manager

The Equipment Maintence Manager oversees the implementation of the company's equipment maintenance program. The position is responsible for identifying what equipment parts are in need of additional work and necessary improvement. Supervises employees who perform maintenance, repair and installation.

General Responsibilities

• Manages the equipment OEE (Overall Equipment effectiveness) improvement and conducting effective preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance to prevent machine unscheduled shutdown

• Conducts equipment evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met

• Keep records of equipment failures and provide needed information and data to upper management

• Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use

• Oversees personnel needs including coaching, training employees, and evaluating employee performance

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members

• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
