Job Description Summary : Responsible for the effective management of the events team including overseeing workloads, liaising with the senior account handling teams in terms of forthcoming events and planning resources as necessary. This is alongside the day-to-day logistical organisation and management of meetings, events, congresses and exhibitions.

Project Management:
Ensures clear and effective communication takes place with the events team, account handling teams and client contacts
Keeps up-to-date with congress and event technologies (web-based/mobile apps, projection/display systems, interactive audience response mechanisms etc.)
Ensures regular account team/client updates of project progress whilst managing any changes to planned activities that may occur
Undertakes day-to-day running and coordination of event-related projects from taking briefs, to organisation and management, financials and post-event wrap-up
Financial Management:
Assists with the preparation of proposals, budgets, timelines and trackers
Obtains quotes for venue, equipment, stage set, materials and travel to input into budgets
Manages and track all direct costs compared with estimated amounts
Commercial Awareness & Business Development:
Builds knowledge of client products and therapy areas
Keeps up-to-date with healthcare, pharmaceutical industry and client guidelines to ensure delivery of compliant meetings
