HR Officer

My client, a global technology company are looking for a passionate and driven HR Officer for their UK and Europe entities.

Reporting into the People Relations Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the people function is thriving.

This role is a predominantly office-based position with some work from home days.

Travel around the UK and Europe will be required occasionally.

All applicants must speak French and/or German, and have knowledge of French/German Employment laws.

Role & Responsibilities: Acting as a key member of the business’s HR function to assist in developing and implementing HR policy to continually ensure best practice and adherence to employment lawsGuiding line managers and heads of business on ER matters and performance management meetingsExecuting tasks relating to Global Mobility including visa applications and Right to Work checksAssisting the Recruitment team where needed in various processes including screening, interviewing and onboarding/offboardingCollaborating with the L&D team on the roll-outs of various employee trainings, many on a multinational levelSupporting the payroll function and assisting with Benefits projectsMaintaining accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR guidelinesCompiling weekly reports on pertinent HR matters to present to Business Heads and other key stakeholders Experience & Skills Required In addition, experience and knowledge of French and/or German employment law and HR practice is essentialProven experience in a HR role at Officer level, ideally within a large organisationHighly resilient and confident in the work that they produceSelf-starter – highly proactive and ‘plugged in’ to the wider HR communityExtremely high stakeholder management skillsFluent in English and French and/or German would also be beneficialTech savvy, with a willingness to learn new HR support systems and social media practices For further information, please apply below.Tiger is B Corp Certified.
