Restoration Water Tech

Axiom Staffing is seeking a water technician for a local restoration company. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Compensation for this position would be approximately $20.00/hour. You are required to be on call once a month.

Purpose of the Job:

The Restoration and Energy Conservation Technician I will be working under a Crew Lead to accomplish the following: mitigate water/fire/mold damage and restore homes when necessary.

Essential Primary Functions:

Serves as a representative of Axiom's client, . displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with clients and with the public.

Ability to drive from customer site to customer site with a valid driver s license.

Operate basic mitigation equipment (Air Movers, Dehumidifiers, etc.)

Perform minor and incidental structural repairs to include windows, and doors

Other Functions:

Assist with loading and unloading work trucks

Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe

Assist with customer site job set up and tear down

Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Skills and Equipment Knowledge Requirements:

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions

Ability to utilize common hand tools

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred 6 months of relevant construction experience.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

Valid Driver s License with clean safety driving record

Clean Criminal history

OSHA Certification

Weatherization Installation Certification

Physical Demands:

Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.

Be able to reach overhead

Be able to work in various positions, including but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.

Work Environment:

Frequent and regular exposure to outdoor weather temperatures and conditions.

Frequent and regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and fiberglass.
