Crucial Link is hiring in Cleveland, OH 44135 for a

Shipping and Delivery Associate

to work at a premiere print ship and label manufacturer.

$18.25/hr to start, Temp-to-Hire

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Occasional Overtime Available

ABSOLUTELY NO CRIMINAL HISTORY

Clean driving record required

Must be able to pass a drug test

Role and Responsibilities

Stage necessary printed components for shipping to meet work order specifications of client requirements.

Delivering products using the company van.

Assists operators in using other shipping equipment.

Perform daily housekeeping in the shipping area and plant floor.

Notify Plant Manager of any substandard equipment or non-conformities.

Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically

Check products for defects and accuracy

Ensure posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated software

Handle packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment

Pull, pack and ship finished goods

Process customers’ orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its way

Handle shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been delivered

Report and replace any defective item prior to packing

Prepare and paste labels on shipments

Prepare invoices and delivery orders

Ensure that all transactions are recorded in company database

Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types

Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled

Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner

Participate in any projects or assignments as directed by Management.

Specific Duties:

Preparation of staging Jobs:

- Weight labels

- Shrink wrap labels.

- Pack Boxes

- Process jobs for shipment through shipping system

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to find, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand for the entire shift and frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 65 pounds

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to machine set-up. Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in work area and/or workstation. Must be able to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
