Employed Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in the Chicagoland Area

Target Start Date: Upon an offer being made to and accepted by a provider, the credentialing process will take approximately 90-120 days before a provider can start with us.

Job Requirements

Full-time/permanent position

Inpatient psychiatric consultations on medical floors

Inpatient psychiatric management on psychiatric floors

Medication management

Licensed Psychiatry NP through the State of Indiana

Unique work structure conducive to utilizing all your skills

Monday-Friday

Weekend and holidays – rounding schedule shared with other professionals

No call schedules after hours or weekend

East Chicago, IN

EMR system utilized in Inpatient & Outpatient settings

EPIC – fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII (Only 5% of hospitals in country are at this level of sophistication)

Easy to use; support department available

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification

Psychiatric nursing experience

Critical thinking skills

Must be flexible and able to work with patients and other professional from all specialties
