Shift: 2pm - 12am

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our truck and trailer fleet safe, operational, and up to DOT regulations. We are currently seeking someone who is confident, has a willingness to learn, can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and can provide excellent problem-solving skills and timely preventative maintenance on our complete fleet of service trucks.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Complete all seasonal and monthly preventative maintenance, including:

Regular greases & oil changes

Regular maintenance of fluid levels

Inspection of U-joints, bearings, and PTO shafts.

Inspection of air and exhaust systems.

Inspection of tires, including brake functionality.

Inspection of suspension system.

Light electrical repairs as needed.

Steering & fuel system maintenance.

Perform light duty maintenance work on trucks and trailers as needed.

Drive trucks to our satellite branches for routine service and repairs as required.

Maintaining records of parts inventory and other serviced vehicles.

Repair hoses and wands.

Requirements:

Previous experience in Preventative Maintenance or other mechanical work

Mechanic courses and general truck knowledge is a plus

Insurable driving record

Possesses basic set of tools

Basic computer skills

Organizational and Multitasking skills

Plumbing experience is a plus
