Key Responsibilities

Identify and establish relationships with suppliers and buyers of transformer oil, including manufacturers, distributors, and end-users.

Facilitate negotiations between parties to agree on pricing, terms of trade, and delivery arrangements for transformer oil transactions.

Actively engage in sales activities to promote transformer oil products and services, including generating leads, prospecting new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of transformer oil according to buyer requirements.

Work closely with buyers to understand their needs, specifications, and quality standards for transformer oil procurement.

Provide expertise and guidance to clients on market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain management within the transformer oil industry.

Conduct market analysis to identify sales opportunities, pricing trends, and competitive dynamics within the transformer oil market.

Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting transformer oil procurement and sales.

Manage documentation and paperwork associated with transformer oil transactions, including contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.

Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement or sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, operations, and finance, to align sales and procurement strategies with business objectives and operational needs.

Maintain accurate records of transactions, market data, and client interactions to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

Locate and determine new sources of oil supply for Emerald facilities to ensure consistent volume availability for end-use oil buyers.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

4+ years of proven experience in sales, procurement, or brokerage within the transformer or related industry.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.

Deep understanding of transformer oil specifications, quality standards, and market dynamics.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, pricing trends, and customer requirements.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.

Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented.

Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization; written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, multi-task, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.

Must have a team player attitude with a desire to support the company as a whole.
