Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Lighting & Audio Visual Production Manager, to oversee the production process of our lighting and audio visual live events. This is a full-time on-site role located in New York, NY. The Production Manager, will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring the safety and quality of all events, managing budgets, and collaborating with clients and vendors to execute successful events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Technical Theatre, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in production management with a focus on lighting and audio visual for live events
Strong project management skills and experience managing budgets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of computer-aided design and lighting software
Experience with rigging, electrical, and audio visual systems
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for live events
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and other staff members
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
