PROJECT WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER -

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead or oversee water planning and design projects, as well as construction engineering services for water systems.

Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.

Construction Documentation: Prepare construction drawings and specifications for public bidding processes.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and coordination of all project activities.

Project Delivery: Ensure all project requirements are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, both for client satisfaction and technical accuracy.

Team Leadership: Manage production schedules, maintain quality control, standardize processes, and supervise junior staff members.

Technology and Financial Management: Implement new technologies, manage financial performance, prepare cost proposals, and oversee project budgets.

Compliance Experience: Have experience with Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) and Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) regulations and practices.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources or related consulting and design.

Strong client relationship management and technical writing skills.

Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.

Experience in wastewater project design and construction is a plus.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired.
