AWS Enterprise Cloud Architect (Cloud Engineering)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Hands on Technical Director expertise in Enterprise architecture, specialized in in Cloud migration and planning to lead our technical team in delivering support to clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, and a proven track record of leading successful Proof of Concepts (POCs) and large implementations.

Responsibilities:

Lead a technical team in developing and executing enterprise cloud migration strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.

Provide hands-on technical expertise to clients, guiding them through the entire migration process from planning to execution.

Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions, leveraging AWS services and tools to optimize performance, cost, and security.

Collaborate closely with clients to assess their technical needs, develop POCs, and provide recommendations for cloud adoption and optimization.

Architect cloud solutions within the context of broader enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with industry standards and security best practices.

Utilize EARB processes to manage and govern architecture artifacts, promoting reuse and standardization throughout the migration process.

Develop and deliver technical presentations to clients, effectively communicating migration strategies, benefits, and potential risks.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, advising clients on best practices for cloud migration and adoption.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical architects and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Conduct workshops and aliging the stakeholders from People, Process and technologies perspective aligning with organizational goals

Experienced in Business, Applicaton, Data, Infrastructure, Network and Secutity layers with deep T experience in either Application or Infrastructure.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) required.

Extensive hands-on experience in enterprise cloud migration and planning, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.

Strong technical proficiency in AWS cloud services, with the ability to design and implement complex solutions.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and technical teams.

Experience leading POCs and technical implementations, with a focus on driving business value and delivering results.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of overcoming technical challenges and delivering successful outcomes.

Willingness to relocate or travel as needed.

Implemented Kubernetes architectures, DevOps CI/CD, Critical applications migration, Terraform IAC with handson experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Consulting industry experience and also inhouse Industry experience for ability to navigate large organization policies and procedure and results driven

Previous experience in the insurance industry, Financial services or other highly regulated sectors.

Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, ).
