The Senior Pharmacy Compliance Analyst works under direct supervision of the VP, Pharmacy Compliance and is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Compliance department which includes ensuring junior team members complete deliverables associated with the practice of pharmacy. The Senior Pharmacy Compliance Analyst operates primarily at the tactical level but is required to know and understand State and Federal pharmacy regulations, cGMP, PDMP, DEA, HIPAA, and Part 11 regulatory requirements to effectively support company compliance activities on a day-to-day basis.

Full Time Onsite role based out of Lakeland, Florida; may transition to hybrid if appropriate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the creation and management of department priority lists required to coordinate departmental workflow with Compliance management.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Policies/Procedures (PsPs), Work Orders and Pharmacy Work Instructions, applicable State and Federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards and assuring that the Change Control process is appropriately followed.

Lead team or group performance to meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly goals established by Pharmacy Leadership team.

Participate in training, daily monitoring, coaching, and critiquing of team members.

Motivate and encourage team members through positive communication and feedback.

Assist and provide guidance to team members on handling compliance related matters.

Perform responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting Company mission and goals.

Effective and written and oral communication across multiple departments.

Executes needed deliverables such as client requests, internal compliance queries and agency requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Assists Compliance management with projects and follow up as needed.

Serves as back-up for Compliance management, as needed.

Works with business unit contributors on fact-gathering and investigations for incidents.

Assists Compliance management on incident analysis and trending.

Conducts internal audits and works with business teams to develop CAPAs, if needed

Assists with preparation of materials for client audits

Assists with development of training materials, as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in pharmacy operations and/or compliance.

Experience in pharmacy operations and/or compliance.

Within 18 months of acceptance must be CHC Certified

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with drug reimbursement issues and claim adjudication process

Experience with insurance benefits investigations; knowledge of U.S. Private and Government payers

Experience with HIPAA, PDMA, cGMP adverse events

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of pharmacy, quality, and compliance requirements.

Computer literate: MS Office, Excel, and Word; basic understanding of data processing, ability to learn new business and customer management software/systems

Effective written and verbal communication, organizational and data entry skills

Detail oriented and has computer knowledge and good customer service awareness

Ability to write reports and business correspondence

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

Strong attention to detail

Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism

Powerful desire to help people resolve problems and excel at job skills

Able to work under pressure and ability to multi-task

Creative problem solver and effective at conflict resolution

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Experience with accreditation with ACHC and/or URAC

Location of job activities 100% inside

Extensive manual dexterity (keyboarding, mouse, phone)
