Title: Epic Application Analyst

Location: White Plains NY (Hybrid)

Compensation: $95,000 to $150,000

Responsibilities:

This Epic Application Analyst has a major impact on how this health care institution utilizes technology to improve patient care. This Epic Applications Analyst play a critical role in the implementation and installation of Epic applications, module upgrades, new components and modifications. This position is responsible for workflow configurations, go-live support, and on-going client support. You are also responsible for configuring application settings and validating configurations.

Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support by troubleshooting and managing reported issues as they arise until resolution.

Participate in the design, build, testing, and maintenance of system enhancements

Proactively acknowledge and manage all assigned service request tickets received from end-users.

Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system and assist with identifying areas of optimization.

Collaborate with end-users to gather and interpret user requirements to assist with designing and discussing optimal solutions.

Act as a liaison to the end-use.

Participate in the implementation and testing of integrated devices

Execute system changes in accordance to IT Change Management Process; including creating test plans and documenting all outcomes of testing; obtaining appropriate approvals

Provide go-live and/or daily end-users support and training on EPIC applications, modules, and functionality.

Write and maintain accurate documentation of workflow for supported Epic applications; and disseminate material to users.

Participate in policy and procedure development as it relates to security, downtime, backup operations and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements:

2+ years of Epic Experience

Epic Certification Preferred

Ambulatory Background

Will mentor on Beacon (Oncology) system.

Application testing experience preferred

Related clinical or business experience
