Embedded Software Engineer

What You'll Be Doing:

Contribute to the development of low-level firmware for AR/VR systems and Firmware groups

Design and implement algorithms for signal processing in AR/VR systems, with a focus on low-resource edge devices such as wearables and mobile phones.

Collaborate on integrating various sensors commonly used in personal-computer devices, including accelerometers, gyroscopes, PPG, pressure sensors, microphones, and temperature sensors

Actively participate in the debugging process and root cause analysis of test failures, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the signal processing functionalities

What We Are Looking For:

Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming languages required

Experienced working with sensors in personal-computer devices

Skilled in developing algorithms for low-resource edge devices, particularly wearables and mobile phones

Prior experience with wearables, mobile phones, or healthcare devices is highly preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges in signal processing and firmware development

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team

Adaptability on project requirements

Work Arrangement Fully On-Site: Must be able to travel to an Arrow Client office location as requested by Arrow Client leadership.

Location: Complete On-Site at Burlingame, CA.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$ 103,400.00 - $160,300.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
