OVERVIEW

We have an opening for a general-purpose Paralegal assisting with corporate, real estate, and litigation matters based in Fort Worth, Texas. We seek an individual with at least 3 years of paralegal experience. This position will report to the Director of Legal Practice Support. This is a non-exempt position. An undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.

Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Relativity, Lexis and Westlaw are preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

CORPORATE

Assist with maintaining and updating files on corporate entities, including annual filings, resolutions, and other corporate compliance materials.

Assist with contract formation and maintenance tasks, including drafting legal correspondence.

Organize and prepare management reporting.

Create and maintain legal entity databases.

LITIGATION

Organize pleadings, legal, subject and issue files electronically.

Standard case and document management.

Assist with preparation of exhibits for briefs.

Coordinate in and out-of-town depositions.

Organize and prepare witness files and trial notebooks.

REAL ESTATE

Assist with the preparation of conveyance and other closing documents.

Preparing and maintaining transaction calendars.

Ordering title searches and surveys.

Preparing closing indices and organize closing books.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A 4 year degree is preferred but not required. Experience at a large or medium-size firm is a plus. Competitive benefits and compensation commensurate with experience.
