About This Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY:

The Category Support Analyst will play a vital role in maintaining data integrity across SEI operating systems. This position involves analyzing and interpreting data related to item ordering, scanning, and invoicing to ensure accurate processing across various workstreams. Researching cost discrepancies impacting vendor payments. Working cross-functionally with business partners to improve how item information is used for internal/external reporting. Perform data validation on item attributes to support strategic initiates that require precise setup for flawless execution.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to evaluate why a particular situation occurred based on patterns identified.

· Reconcile item costs compared to vendor cost transmissions. Make required system updates and coordinate financial adjustments.

· Perform daily exception report analysis and coordinate item attribute amendments.

· Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and or improvements based on analytics.

· Work cross-functionally with IT partners and Accounting to investigate item transaction errors to determine if item attribute updates are required to correct item processing.

· Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· Data Manipulation and Visualization

· Critical thinking and Problem-solving abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Advanced Microsoft Office Suites, SQL, PowerBI. (Pivot tables, Vlook-Up, IF, Count statements) Macros are plus

· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
