Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Digital Solutions Principal Architect to drive our digital initiatives forward. This role will collaborate closely with visionary enterprise architects, shared service teams such as security & infrastructure, translating strategic visions into actionable plans leveraging the latest digitaltechnologies to turn our vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into actionable technical requirements to drive and implement Digital strategy.

Primary focus on leading the development of modern apps based on latest app architecture and design paradigms such as “12-factor app”, “composable apps” etc. leveraging cloud-native PaaS services and distributed databases coupled with DevSecOps practices.

Develop app reference architectures, app frameworks and design patterns based on micro- frontend development and backend micro-services based on containers, service mesh and Kubernetes deployments.

Lead the integration of cloud apps with cloud hosted data lakes, partner data stores and CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics 365 and Salesforce.

Spearhead the development of cohesive technology ecosystems (including hands-on coding when required) by collaborating with peers in IT Operations & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Digital Products, IT Project Management, Application Development, and Integrations.

Define and implement technology and security requirements for new applications and projects, serving as a subject matter expert on digital technologies and information security.

Develop detailed solution architectures that prioritize scalability, security, and integration, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance regulations.

Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration guides.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to gather requirements and provide expert technical guidance for successful project delivery.

Lead the definition of target and current state architectures, transition architectures, and roadmaps, driving technology strategies forward.

Utilize expertise in digital technologies to lead organizational transformations, guiding teams through modern cloud-native architectures.

Have a deep technical understanding of cloud-native digital platforms, technologies, and applications.

Provide technical and architectural leadership across both legacy and modern cloud-based distributed systems.

Qualifications:

Hands-on Architect, experienced in design, development, and documenting secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud-based apps utilizing public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).

Possess deep knowledge of modern front-end development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and key JavaScript libraries.

Experienced in integration of APIs from various sources to ensure seamless data flow within the solution.

Experience working with CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics 365 and Salesforce is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) principles and how they can be incorporated into solutions to enhance functionality.

Ability to collaborate with development teams to drive consensus and ensure solutions are implemented according to design specifications.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide thought leadership and innovation.

12+ years work experience building cloud-native apps and leveraging cloud PaaS services.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Master degree preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in digital technologies and their application in enterprise settings.

Proven track record of developing and executing digital strategies.

Strong understanding of digital connectedness and emerging technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent are a plus.
