Immediate need for a talented Project Scheduler. This is a 06+ months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Freeport, TX(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

NOTE:

5 days/ 10 hours/ week

7 days/ 12 hours/ week on (FEL) Front End Loading schedule (August/September)

Key Responsibilities:

This position will provide schedule support for 300blk outages in Freeport, TX.

Provide P6 schedule support for midsized to large maintenance outages.

Will be required to work independently in carrying out outage project’s & scheduling efforts.

Active participation in the overall planning process, development of detailed schedules for FEL, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases.

Track schedule and earned physical progress, key milestone changes, identify delays, and support reporting to management.

Critical Path Analysis.

Strong analytical skills that will allow proper assessments of projects to identify potential performance issues.

In addition, be able support development and recommend solutions via communication and support with Project Management.

Generate predefined schedule reporting requirements and ad hoc reports on an as needed basis.

Assist in the development and improvement of schedule and planning tools, processes, and procedures.

Provide basic training on scheduling to project team members.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Required Keywords: (PRIMAVERA OR "PRIMAVERA P6" OR P6 OR P5 OR P3) AND (SCHEDULE OR SCHEDULING OR PLANNING OR "FRONT END LOADING" OR FEL)

At least 8 years professional experience.

At least 5 years of scheduling/planning experience in chemical, petrochemical or similar manufacturing / project environment.

Ability to work in a diverse team environment In depth technical knowledgeable about overall project planning and detailed scheduling work processes for all aspects of a project including Engineering, Procurement, Construction.

Excellent Primavera P6 use and knowledge.

Excellent computer skills.

Strong quality focus with an attention to detail.

Strong analytical skills. Strong communication, initiative, and collaborative skills.
