IT Project Manager

We are working on a fully remote IT Project Manager for our Central Ohio client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Structure, manage, and facilitate the execution of Transformation projects/programs

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and in accordance with the scope of customer requirements

Research system issues and works with the technical team to resolve the problem, document the troubleshooting steps, and train the support team for future incident handling

Set and track project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed

Assist with test plan creation and performs testing, as needed

Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and end customers, developers, and consultants to facilitate the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of systems

Provides general guidance and prepares reference material for end-users

Identifies opportunities and executes plans to improve the utilization of various solutions

Qualifications:

3+ year IT project management experience

Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment

A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies

Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally
